Class of 2028

Outgoing, energetic, and passionate about connecting with others; a master at remembering names!

To know who I am, one should know what has been my role in the DKU community since my 3 months here. Here’s a glimpse of me at DKU: Envision me as the noisemaker, the one who doesn’t hush. In the lecture halls, amidst the rustle of pages and the hum of intellectual curiosity, I don’t hesitate to SPEAK UP. I share my unique ideas in academia, questioning the norm and starting fresh discussions. SPEAKING UP, I shape the intellectual landscape. During late-night study sessions in the study rooms, when the air is thick with concentration and the weight of assignments hangs heavy, you can bet I SPEAK UP. I break the silence with a witty remark, infuse the room with laughter, and turn the pressure into shared camaraderie. SPEAKING UP with humor, with enthusiasm, I turn mundane moments into memorable ones. In the hustle and bustle of student organizations and extracurricular activities, I take the lead and SPEAK UP. Whether I’m shaping events, championing causes, or simply sharing my passions. SPEAKING UP, I announce my presence loud and clear, declaring that I’m here to actively engage, not just passively observe. As I continue to embark on this exciting chapter of my life, standing at the threshold of new connections, challenges, and adventures, you can count on me to continue to SPEAK UP. I’ll continue to embrace the unknown with courage, share my dreams, and amplify the collective voice of my school. SPEAKING UP, I’ll let the journey continue! DKU awaits my unique contribution to its story, so I will never shy away from being the author of my narrative. Always stepping onto campus, ready to explore the uncharted territories of knowledge and self-discovery, I’ll always SPEAK UP FOR ALL and unfurl the banner of my convictions.

Class of 2028

artist, believer, dreamer, idealist

Hi, I am Holly Wang from class of 2028, whose intended major is mathematics. I come from Guangzhou, China. I am really active and energetic to do lots of things and have highly participated in different Art and Sports activities. I have always acted as a leader in my past 12 years in school, and have really much passionate and experience of it. Applying for Student Leaders Board is a big dream and goal here for me in DKU. Having enough experience in leadership, I am really interested in student organization affairs in platforms from DKU. I want to challenge myself and develop myself through helping students in DKU and build a better DKU environment. If I am selected, I will spend 200% energy and attention to creat special programs and different cross-cultural activities to make our multicultural campus more lively and energetic, making a difference in adjusting students’ welfare and improve students’ concening issues. Also work on bringing everyone more interactive opportunities, like cultural exchange fairs, peer study group programs, and even more special academic projects. I believe I can do well to reach my goal and sucessfully make a difference.
