Hi, I am Lexi Zhou from ’26, majoring in Mathematics. I am applying to be a board member of the Student Leaders Board. My tenure as the finance director of the 2023-24 Campus Activities Board provided me with substantial event organization and team collaboration skills. This role also afforded me the opportunity to attend the 2024 UNNC Youth Summit as a student delegate, where I engaged with peers from various universities in Jiangsu, Shanghai, and Zhejiang discussing structures and operations of students’ union and campus organizations. I was particularly inspired by the effective communication channels they established between their administrations and student bodies. My goal is to facilitate similar development within DKU by bolstering direct dialogues and responsiveness between our administration and student population, and by fostering connections with peer institutions. With my organizational experience and great enthusiasm, I am eager to contribute to the development of our DKU community.
