I like doing interesting things with everyone. I hope joining SLB can bring me to a brand-new world.

I’m Xinyou Lei, and my preferred name is Yura. I am a student who has cultivated a deep passion for structured, student-centric leadership through diverse roles across high school and university. In high school, I served as President of the Student Union’s Activity Department, where I organized large-scale events like singing competitions and charity shows, honing my skills in team task allocation and event execution. I also led the Mix Dancing Club, planning bi-monthly activities and staging major performances, which taught me to balance creativity with logistical precision. At DKU, I’ve further refined my leadership: as Secretary of the Reach Club, I oversee full-cycle meeting management, standardized document organization, and public calendar maintenance—ensuring information stays orderly and traceable. As Vice President of the Student Ambassador Committee, I now coordinate initiatives where students return to their high schools to introduce DKU, strengthening my cross-group communication and project coordination abilities.
I want to join the Student Leaders Board because I believe my hands-on experience aligns with SLB’s goal of driving effective, transparent student leadership. My background in streamlining processes and executing student-focused events can help SLB operate more smoothly. If selected, I aim to enhance inter-team collaboration by optimizing document-sharing systems and ensuring timely follow-ups on meeting action items. I also hope to support SLB in bridging gaps between the board and students—drawing on my ambassador experience to design initiatives that reflect student needs, making SLB’s work more inclusive and impactful.
