Hi, my name is Gunbat Otgonbayar. I care a lot about the people around me and about the community we are building here. I believe good leadership starts with simple things, like listening and being there for others. When people feel supported and welcomed, they open up, try new things, and grow.

I want to join the Student Leaders Board because I want students to enjoy their college life, not just survive it. College is a big change for many of us. It can be exciting, but also stressful and confusing. I want to help create a place where everyone feels comfortable to get involved, make friends, and feel proud to be here.

I also want to grow as a leader by learning from others who inspire me. I know I have a lot to learn, and the best way to improve is by working with people who share the same goal of making positive changes.

I have been lucky to experience what teamwork can do. Helping manage the 30th Anniversary celebration and the Smiley World event showed me how powerful it is when students work together. I saw people smiling, connecting, and feeling like they were part of something special. I want more moments like that for our campus.
If selected, I will put in the effort to bring people together, create opportunities for joy, and make sure everyone feels included. I want to help build a community where every student feels supported on their journey here.
