Three months ago, as a new student of the 2028 cohort, I began my exploration at DKU. I am glad to find that DKU fully meets my expectations for university. I am good at self-planning, and DKU provides ample freedom; I enjoy deep thinking, and DKU fully respects every student’s idea; I enjoy communicating with people, and DKU’s multicultural community allows me to experience the collision of different ideas, bringing me a whole new experience; I had a lot of experience in leading teams to plan and organize large-scale events during my high school years. DKU’s diverse campus activities and club organizations provided me with a stage to showcase my talents. In fact, since coming to DKU, I have been searching for organizations like student unions, and I am glad that I have found them now. DKU is a big family full of love. I see the passion of the school’s faculty for their work and education, the passion of professors and students for academic research, and the passion of classmates for campus life. No organization is perfect, just like each of us. I want to make DKU a better community, and everyone in it has a responsibility to work together. That’s why I want to join the student union. I am willing to act as a bridge connecting my classmates and school administrators, winning their trust and dependence, listening to their demands and voices on learning, accommodation, and other aspects of life, and actively providing feedback to the school administrators, offering constructive suggestions to improve campus life, and making our community a better place.
