University Programming Assistant works with a team of the Campus Programming Coordinator and other UPAs to Plan, implement and evaluate multiple campus traditional events/activities. For instance, but not limited to, Spirit Thursday, Thanksgiving Dinner, De-Stress Festival, and Senior Ball. This position will support the campus programs through event coordination, social media marketing, and general administrative work. All UPAs are required to take the NASPA Certified Peer Education training before onboarding (the training fee will be covered by the office).

Assistant to the student center and clubs takes the responsibility of Blue Oasis Student Center front desk on a rotation basis, manages the facilities and space booking for the Blue Oasis. Besides, student workers in this position will need to be familiar with Student Clubs and Organizations Handbook, guidelines, policies, and rules; be able to assist student clubs with initiation and implementing activities. We are looking for someone who is passionate about student engagement and activities with excellent interpersonal skills, with a desire to work in a team-oriented, dynamic, fast-paced, diverse environment. First Year Experience Program Assistant works with a team of First Year Experience Coordinator and other Program Assistants to plan, implement, and evaluate a variety of events that tailor to the needs of the first-year students at DKU. This position will support the FYE Program through event coordination, social media marketing, and general administrative work. Application usually opens in the summer.
