University Programming Assistant works with a team of the Campus Programming Coordinator and other UPAs to Plan, implement and evaluate multiple campus traditional events/activities. For instance, but not limited to, Spirit Thursday, Thanksgiving Dinner, De-Stress Festival, and Senior Ball. This position will support the campus programs through event coordination, social media marketing, and general administrative work. All UPAs are required to take the NASPA Certified Peer Education training before onboarding (the training fee will be covered by the office).

Student workers in this position will need to be familiar with Student Clubs and Organizations Handbook, guidelines, policies, and rules; be able to assist student clubs with initiation and implementing activities. We are looking for someone who is passionate about student engagement and activities with excellent interpersonal skills, with a desire to work in a team-oriented, dynamic, fast-paced, diverse environment.This position usually opens four weeks before every semester starts. |
First Year Experience Program Assistant works with a team of First Year Experience Coordinator and other Program Assistants to plan, implement, and evaluate a variety of events that tailor to the needs of the first-year students at DKU. This position will support the FYE Program through event coordination, social media marketing, and general administrative work. Application usually opens in the summer. Arts and Culture Program Assistants support the office in designing and implementing programs and/or events. The position includes designer, program assistant, editor, and more. We open to students from all academic backgrounds who are interested in the area, the position normally opens in Summer, a month before the new semester begins.
